Sting Girls Fast Pitch Softball Organization formally known as Southside Sting was established in 1998 by the late Edward Stewart Smither, Jr. of Suffolk, Virginia.

Sting Girls Fast Pitch Softball is a non-profit organization based out of the Hampton Roads area in Southeastern Virginia. We are one of the oldest and longest running softball organizations in the area.

Sting Girls Fast Pitch is a structured organization administered by board members and hard working parents that volunteer to uphold organizational by-laws and ensure the organization adheres to state regulations.
